Villa Korhoen is originally designed for recreational purposes housing 7, but may also be built for residential use.

All spaces are on the same level; the bedrooms on the north side, the spacious living with large glass façades facing south, catching a lot of “free” solar energy in winter; during summer the overhanging roof shades the glass façades to avoid overheating.

Equipped with solar-boiler, photo-voltaics + battery-pack and of course optimal insulation it is able to function off-grid.
